Perched on a hill, this modern, comfortable holiday home commands a spectacular view of the beautiful Mahurangi Harbour. It offers self catering holiday accommodation that's stylish and convenient.
hideaway harbour is a three bedroom, fully self catering holiday home that offers accommodation for up to 6 people. There are three different levels, with the master bedroom and ensuite on the top floor, and two bedrooms on the ground floor. A spacious, comfortable lounge area dominates the seaward side of the house, with the kitchen, dining area, bathroom and laundry on the middle level.
Located in Mahurangi West, Jamieson Bay, this holiday home is an ideal romantic retreat or parents' getaway. Mahurangi West is one of the best kept secrets of New Zealand's coast, because of its incredible scenery, privacy and lifestyle. It is a haven for birds. Look forward to being entertained by a whole variety of birdlife, including tuis and native wood pigeons, as you sit on the deck enjoying the harbour view. If you are lucky, you might even see the local dolphin pod pass through Mahurangi harbour.
Packed with fun activities and interesting places to see, this area is perfect for a fun-filled family holiday. There are holiday activities a-plenty, ranging from a visit to Puhoi village for a slice of New Zealand history, to picnicking and enjoying the sea and sand at nearby Mahurangi Regional Park. The famous Morris and James Pottery is also nearby. You can walk down the track to the beach at the foot of hideaway harbour and try out our kayak, or take a walk around the rocks to Opahi Bay. At night, let tranquillity envelope you as you enjoy the moon and, especially, the bright stars of the Mahurangi.
Rates
- Peak rate: $350 per night – September through March inclusive
- Off peak rate: $250 per night
- Minimum stay: 2 nights
Bookings & Payment Policy
Receipt of credit card details will confirm bookings. We accept MasterCard and Visa and require cardholder’s name, number and expiry date. No deposit is taken, but these details will secure your reservation. Make a booking now
Cancellation policy
Cancellations affect us! Consequently we have a strict cancellation policy which is as follows: Thirty days out, 30% penalty. Seven days or less, 100%. We will make every attempt to re-book and if successful will not charge you. We recommend travel insurance.
